I was very disappointed in this firm. They didn’t return my phone calls. I called multiple times and left messages. Finally got a response after waiting for weeks to hear about my case. They told me they were working on my case but didn’t. Weren’t thorough in my case. Made mistakes, very unprofessional. I would never recommend them to anyone.
Wasted so much time, money, and effort with this firm even after being recommended to them. Family law is extremely bias towards mothers, even so with an attorney selected to represent me as well. No criminal history, previous children from other relationship and continually manipulated from selected mediator and my lawyer, Leah Shotwell, did nothing to fight for what I wanted. 50/50 or as close to shouldn't be that difficult, but high conflict from mother and my support system bended to her every will/asking. I wasted over 9k for garbage temporary orders that were agreed upon and then changed by mother after, and still told to agree to them. When called out for not fighting for you, they will withdraw. If you're a male, or have a friend who is a male going through family law, do not retain this firm. They are stuck in the past and want you to take way less than what you ask for in custody. No matter how unlawful the mother is.
If you're a man fighting for your custody, do not use this firm or lawyer. They fold and bend to whatever opposing lawyers and mediators offer. Little to no value for the money you spend just to be dragged through family law to continue charges for no resolutions or help. I was referred, but was the worst decision I made when came to fighting to be in my child's life.
She was terrible. She lost me all my property and custody. She screwed up. She’s human. But I asked her to take responsibility for her screw up and she refused. Stay away!
