Judge Jamo was my lawyer 37 years ago for my divorce. My ex had been violent with me and Mr. Jamo was very kind but also very professional. My dad had come with me to see him, and had begun to answer questions Mr. Jamo had been asking me. Very nicely, he told my dad he wanted me to answer those questions, and my dad didnt even become upset, he just left to do some errands. It was the first time in my life, (I was 33 years old) that my dad allowed me to speak for myself, and I count Mr. Jamo as the person who brought that about without my dad being upset. It was somehow an eye opening experience for me, that I could speak the truth and my family did allow me to grow up a bit that day, thanks to Mr Jamo. I dont know if I have explained this incident very well, but it was something I have never forgotten.(I am 69 years old now) Mr. Jamo also made me feel safe, even when my ex was disruptive in the courtroom. Thank you Mr Jamo!!! (now Judge Jamo)
