About Michael R. Parham

A veteran attorney of more than twenty-years, Mike Parham founded Parham Estate Law in 2009. His estate-related credentials are second to none and include: LLM (Master of Laws) in estate planning and certification as an estate planning specialist with the state of Tennessee.

Furthermore, Mike is a Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and is a member of the Memphis Estate Planning Council and Planned Giving Council for Greater Memphis. He received his law degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Law and a Master of Laws in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law - after earning a BA in American Studies from Lipscomb University.

Mike is, however, better known for his personable demeanor and his community service. He serves as a deacon at the Germantown Church of Christ, and volunteers for a number of industry associations. Hobby interests include Tiger Basketball (Mike also serves on the Board of Directors for the University of Memphis Rebounders) and reading.

After researching many lawyers and having several close friends recommend him to me, I decided to get Mike Parham to help me with wills and probate issues after my husband died. I soon discovered why he has such a stellar reputation. Mike has a deep level of honor and integrity. Of course, he's intelligent and well-educated as many lawyers are, but what sets him apart is his professionalism and deep compassion. Mike and his staff were kind and supportive as they worked to help me through a difficult time. They were easy to work with and responsive to my needs. I really appreciate how accessible Mike is, both through phone calls and emails. Working with Mike was one of the best decisions I could make, especially during this traumatic time in my life.
