Jocelyn V. Henderson is a scam attorney. She showed up late for our initial consultation. Then she showed up late again for our second meeting, with no real explanation, and asked me to sign a document she could have had me sign the first meeting. I realized later she was only doing that, having me come to her office, to make it look like she was busy on the case, but she actually had done nothing. On the day of an eviction hearing she showed up late and sited personal concerns. She appeared as if she was had just rolled out of bed. She scammed me out of $6k and did nothing on my case then said I owed her "more money" if I needed her to continue representing me. I later found out that she never even looked at the court documents and my case could have been resolved relatively easily. She's a liar and a thief. A real travesty for the City of Memphis. It takes a truly evil individual to scam people out of justice.
Working with Jocelyn Henderson was a terrible experience. She is a scam Attorney! Do not use her. She is notoriously late for appointments, rude, disorganized, dishonest and untrustworthy. She has no integrity; does not keep her word and will tell you anything just to get your money. The few times I meet with her she was unprofessionally dressed and was late. She is initially charming and will make you feel comfortable but, she will do nothing for months, then tell you that "you owe more money" in order for her to continue representing you. Do your research and you will see that she does not win cases because she does not know law.
