It has been several years since I used Mr. McElroy's services but I was satisfied with the results.
Services were fine with the exception of long waits in his office to simply make a payment or sign a document. The low score for value for money would apply to any lawyer. Mr. McElroy's rates were comparable to others in the area, but I feel the cost of $1300 for bankruptcy is too high.
VERY UNCLEAR ABOUT WHAT I OWED.
Mr. McElroy does a high volume of business and the flow of clients and time spent are adequate. But I feel his front interview girls need extra help and more privacy. Too much time is spent with them having to multi task. Mr. McElroy doesn't always write down everything and can cause a misunderstanding when it comes to relating it to his staff. Other than that.... I would recommend him for convenience hours available, low wait time, and friendly staff.
McElroy's office never got my Reaffirmation agreement signed by my mortgage co. So NOW yrs later & previous mortgage Co sold to another, I start questioning why my Mortgage payment & loan doesn't show on my Credit report Since I'm rebuilding my credit....I call the office & this is what I'm told. So...what do I do? That's the attorney office responsibility. So for yrs paying Mortgage faithfully, but no credit for it on my credit report. What do I do? Talked the office & they said nothing they can do. Well who can help me? This was their responsibility, because I definitely didn't know anything about the paperwork.
