    REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE: In 2014, Ms. Cissell, Ms. Magee
    Ms. Bursi successfully defended a gynecologist in a medical malpractice trial. The Plaintiff alleged, among other things, lack of informed consent. The trial lasted two weeks
    involved four expert witnesses
    several fact witnesses. At the close of Plaintiff's proof, the Court granted a directed verdict to the Defendant as to Plaintiff's claims for medical battery, negligence per se, loss of earnings
    earning capacity,
    punitive damages. The jury deliberated for less than five hours
    returned a verdict for the Defendant, finding that the doctor had acted in accordance with the recognized st
    ard of acceptable professional practice in obtaining informed consent from the patient.
