Mark is the Senior Associate for Grubb & Associates. Prior to joining Grubb & Associates Mark worked for Amourgis & Associates, His role was Head of Civil Division which included foreclosure defense and bankruptcy cases. Mark spent seven years as a commercial and business litigator with Sonkin & Koberna Co., L.P.A.., after spending eight years in the Canton office of Black, McCuskey, Souers & Arbaugh and the Cleveland office of Kahn Kleinman, where he developed a broad-based civil litigation and creditor's rights practice.
Mark is skilled in the representation of business and individual clients in all phases of civil litigation, including complex pleading drafting, pre-trial discovery, trial practice and appellate practice in state and federal courts. Mark also has significant experience in the representation of secured and unsecured creditors in Chapter 7 liquidation and Chapter 11 reorganization bankruptcy matters, including asset sales. His experience includes litigation of construction disputes, real estate foreclosures, commercial lease disputes and adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court.
Mark also has significant expertise in the areas of consumer and commercial collections, as well as Ohio mechanic's lien law. Mark brings all of this experience to our Civil Division to ensure the best and most effective representation of our foreclosure and bankruptcy clients.
