Hired this firm for one specific filing with the court and it was never done. I was advised it had been filed, my money was taken for it to be filed and weeks later it had not been filed per the court. I reached out to find out what was up and advised it had been mailed in. Weeks later I was advised that they had decided to pull it out of the mail bin as they didn’t think it should be filed. Thousands later, the attorney made phone calls and visited the hospital a few times but did not do the work hired to do.
Working with this lawyer has been absolutely awful. She was supposed to be assisting us with my family's last days & estate. She basically forgot that my great uncle passed away & we had to wait almost 4 weeks to bury him. She graciously permitted a family member to gather photos from their house & wound up finding hundreds of dollars in cash, which Susan took & we have no idea what happened to it. My family has been asking for updates on when they can go in & collect other family heirlooms (paying for them) to which she still hasn't responded. Then, she advised us that my aunt "had some money" for a reception before her passing, but now that my aunt has also met Jesus, she is telling us that after the funeral she will be hands off, meaning she isn't giving any of my aunt's money towards a reception. And we have no idea what will now happen to their estate. Susan's lack of communication, lack of compassion & crassness should be enough to stay away from her!
