I never felt like they were truly on my side. I left interactions (calls/emails) feeling worse than before. I knew that wasn't right, but didn't realize how wrong until hiring a new attorney. During hearings the magistrate asked if she knew the process and "how this works" repeatedly. Opposing counsel told my new attorney Ms. Grubb malpracticed on my case. They bill you for EVERYTHING. For example, the paralegal would frequently email me stating only 'please call me". They charged me $8.50 for that! They bill both an attorney and paralegal fee when they talk to each other about your case. At the time I released them I had paid almost $10,000 in legal fees. Almost a year later, I received a bill saying I owed an additional $13,000+. Unless you want to pay astronomical fees for subpar representation, look elsewhere.

I am very disappointed in the lack of communication this firm has put me through. I did not win my case because of the lack of communication on the law firm on their costs and delayed response in billing. I had no choice but to settle my case because the responsiveness and lack of their knowledge how much my lawsuit would cost made me make the decision to stop the lawsuit. After demanding the cost for the past three months I exceeded all assets and could not continue to court. I was highly disappointed in the outcome as I did the majority of the work myself looking up documents. What I am most upset about is the fact after yelling at them last year about my disappointment in the bill and told them to tell me the bill from that day forward AHEAD of time they still billed me way over the cost they told me and decided to give it to me 10 months late. WHY AM I GETTING A BILL FROM 10 MONTHS AGO! This is disrespectful to any client.
