Cam is a thoughtful, intelligent and pragmatic attorney and has gotten results for my family. He has a calm, professional demeanor and comes prepared but at the same time is quick thinking and can pivot when necessary. I’ve personally witnessed this in court where Cam has influenced outcomes with quick thinking which comes from his vast experience in family law and his deep understanding of the his clients situation and goals. He has represented me in numerous hearings and a couple of trials over the last 5 years. I have not been granted everything I have sought, however we were successful in the vast majority of issues litigated in court and issues negotiated outside of court.

I worked with Cam during my contested divorce in 2016, and I could not have asked for a better lawyer. Cam was enormously professional and skilled in and out of the courtroom, while helping me navigate (and win) a complex divorce and custody battle. I found Cam to be highly ethical, kind, empathetic and a lawyer who genuinely cared about my wellbeing and that of my children. I would not hesitate to recommend Cam Howry to any individual in need of an excellent divorce lawyer.

I hired Cam because my original divorce attorney, Craig Galpern retired. My hands were tied and my ex- husband placed retainers on all other reputable lawyers in southern Oregon. Cam is kind and compassionate in face-to-face contact, however his rates are crazy in fluctuation depending on the paper work he claims to do. Also, I hired him to go to court with me ONE time for a maximum of maybe a two hour oral argument and he ended up charging me nearly 4K!!! I did not get the results, defense or representation that I felt I deserved, especially at that rate! Be careful and look around, you’ll spend thousands just to be treated kindly but extremely disappointed. Old school, good old boy lawyers are a dying breed for sure. Galpern was the best and had your best interest at heart!!

If you want your court postponed over and over and cam to just sit there and watch you loose your home and everything else then this is the guy for you . He will say things like “ I forgot we can ask for that” then add another court date and want more money from you ( even when it’s his mistake) to only postpone again once you actually make it to court. You better be ready to pay this man a lot of money and him casually say it’s postponed again. He can literally have all the evidence to win your case and not fight at all to present it. You will loose everything waiting for this man to maybe try and help you.

He was court. Appointed lawyer in a DHS case I had he lied to me twice because he was to busy and wouldn't take it trial he never spoke to my witnesses he got me to sign a deal by lying to me because he was to busy .myself and my friends have wondered if he is a alcoholic he was never prepared all he does is push court dates out he shouldn't be representing any body I should of fired him sooner.i have google him and Im Not the only one that has been screwed over by him watch out for this guy he is a snake and he in way will be honest

Mr Howry is unethical beyond belief. I wish I never met him yet alone hired him. He paid absolutely no attention to my case. He did not address my concerns. He ignored crucial information that I gave him. Mr Howry literally put me in a worse situation than if I had no representation. I would have been better off representing myself. I know what a good lawyer does as I was represented by Tara Yelman, Craig Galperm and the best lawyer ever Charles Kochlas I would give these 3 5 stars plus! Mr Howry should not be practicing law as he doesn’t care about his clients. Even my ex was calling Mr Howry out on how compunprepared he was.
