I really had an eye opener on what to expect from an attorney. I don't really have the words to describe the appreciation, not just for the dedication and work ethic that I have seen, but also the kindness that I have experienced while having Attorney Mehaffie as my legal representation. I will certainly say she raises the bar. She is very professional and extremely knowledgeable. She has an honesty that I respect a great deal and I trust her and her work. She is very thorough and genuinely a wonderful person. When you are going through things like divorce and custody, it's a very stressful time. I'd be lying if I didn't say I couldn't have gotten through this without her help as well as her kind heart. She is an absolutely amazing attorney.
I had a great experience with everything concerning my custody case. Deb was very attentive, supportive, and responded to all my questions immediately. She wouldn't let me give up or give into anything I didn't actually want. I'm very pleased.
Very overpriced! Charged me $250 just for a consult! Then a $2500 retainer at $250 an hour for something I could have done my self with a lot less aggravation. She is very rude narcissistic person with a huge ego! I would never hire her or recommend her!
If you hire Debra be prepared to spend much more then what you are anticipating going into the case. Be aware of additional costs, fees, that you will encounter far exceeding what she may tell you to gain your business. What was supposed to Happy exciting time in our life turned out to be extremely stressful and difficult. I agree with the last review she is very rude and unprofessional making comments speaking badly of the judge on our case who we found to be wonderful.
