Hired Attorney Ms. Alexis Stern

Alexis Bishop was wonderful. She fought for me to get my daughter back from foster care. She is kind and caring. She came to court prepared and on time. We kept in constant contact.

I have had an excellent ongoing partnership with this law firm representing me since 2007. I have had Brent Goodfellow represent me for cases that varied widely in the criminal & civil spectrum from custody & parenting, felony criminal, misdemeanor criminal, divorce, to modification of parenting time, etc. He has always been attentive, informative, responsive to answering my questions as well as well as adept at maneuvering the local political system.

Not only did he loose are bail money by telling us court was rescheduled because he was sick. But he also wasn't in contact until the day we had to plea. He said we had to take all charges or it would be jail that day. Never even offering a plea or other options. He is very clicky with other lawyers, DAs ect. Claims to have some pull because of who his father is and lawyers he knew in school. He is very unorganized, hard to reach and when asked questions doesn't really seem to know how things work. Then to top it off he quit right before sentencing but worked for us when we took the charges. He told us we would have a good chance at sentencing because who he knew and the judge we would have and pursued us to plea guilty, he had no contact with us and was unprepared to fight the case the morning of court. Then he quit on us. Horrible lawyer, liar, and clicky with the county.(micha will give the DA this case and then he gets to win one)

Do not use this attorney without first checking his bar complaints. I fired him he was hiding and keeping information from me. He was setting up depositions time and canceling them. Now opposing council wants 17000 in legal fees. During the 2nd deposition he did nothing but play on his phone. My new attorney did more in 2 months than he did in 2.5 years. In fact he told me he never filed a formal title Insurance claim. Now I have free representation by title company after I spent 25000

Hired Attorney Ms. Alexis Stern

Right before we entered the court room for the first time, she pulled me aside assured me that we were most likely going to LOSE! She barely fought and argued. Simply put, she was ill-prepared compared to the opposition. After losing the case she was racking up the bill with pointless emails (minimum of $36 per e-mail), even after I told her to stop.
Alexis Bishop is a chihuahua that left me worse off then when I hired her. I do not recommend her to anyone except maybe your opposition.
