James Allen was unavailable most of the times, hardly returned my calls or e-mails in a timely fashion, and broke his own promises to call. I paid him to get help, but he hardly worked for my case, so, on the contrary, he hurt me and my case, causing significant mental sufferings and financial losses. He ignored the fact, given documents, and my repeated requests; failed to conduct necessary investigation; and did not have necessary expertise to handle my case.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
