David L. Flores is a native of the RGV, born and raised in the area. In 1997, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas Pan American. Prior to attending law school, David gained valuable experience working for the Hidalgo County and Williamson County Probation Departments.Subsequently, David pursued his legal education at St. Mary's University School of Law, where he graduated with honors, earning the distinction of Cum Laude. During his time in law school, he honed his skills at the Herrera Law Firm, where he provided assistance on a range of personal injury and construction law cases.From 2003 to 2006, David served as a partner at the law office of Flores & Sanchez, P.C. Following that, he assumed the role of senior partner at Flores & Torres, LLP from 2006 until February 2022. Throughout his career, David has handled various civil litigation matters, including disputes in municipal, construction, business, and contractual law. He has proudly represented several School Districts, including Donna ISD, Mercedes ISD, and San Benito ISD. In addition, he has provided legal counsel to entities such as the Edinburg EEDC, San Benito EEDC, Donna Housing Authority, and Hidalgo County Housing Authority. David has also been a steadfast defender of various government entities.
