Do NOT use Heller and Holmes. Long story short: I fired them and went pro se. I spent thousands with them for nothing...my attorney was using the competing attorney's office when he came to town, billed several phone calls(some were for 3 hours). I had to call him and ask what they were speaking for hours about...never informed me of the appeals process until the case was over, severely limiting the evidence I was trying to obtain. Then, they came after me 5 years after the case for 'payment'.
Extremely expensive!!! They seem to take an extended amount of time to do something that could have been resolved quickly. (Years) They have depositions where the other party admits guilt as well as overwhelming evidence but does nothing with it, continuing to drag the process on with the opposing attorney. I could have purchased a new car with what they charged and the case was never resolved. Very expensive with poor results. Extremely dissatisfied.
