Ms Ebron was our guardian Ad litem. She never should have been put in that role. We first met her at court without her ever contacting us first. She had telephone contact with the step grandparent and the grandparent advisor. This was enough for her to be convinced that permanent custody should be awarded to the grandparents without ever interacting or meeting our child or meeting us—her parents or seeing any of the evaluations done by DFCS. She was resolute in her stance and seemed to not want to waste the court’s time by actually exploring what would be best in the situation or without weighing who our two year old daughter is bonded with. Would not recommend this attorney as she does not do the background work necessary to be well informed.
