I am a single parent from Saint Marys, GA so I was not familiar with family custody attorney's in Augusta, GA. I performed extensive research online to find the best attorney for my situation. She was easy to talk to, her price was reasonable

Last week I was going to hire Cara, before I actually signed any paperwork I sent Cara a retainer, only after reading some horrible reviews how she was a crook and how she used up funds quickly, and how she didn’t deliver on her word. The night that I paid the retainer before I signed any contract I asked for my retainer back of $3500, I called to ask about the retainer, they let me know that I would receive it by Monday, unfortunately my child is sick and every dollar counts, and after reading the horrible reviews about her stealing peoples money, I decided not to go through. There was no way that she could have done the work that she said that she did, over three hours of work just on my case which made no sense whatsoever she billed me $50 for a 10 minute phone call with her, She actually billed me for the phone call that I made to ask her for a refund. Well lo and behold, I received my refund check today -640.50 for her time. She actually is nothing but a crook, I’m disgusted

Attorney Cara Rowe was a very costly mistake. She seemed to care more about her relationship with the other attorney than representing me. She did not listen to me to be prepared. She did not care to look at details. She was very rude when she spoke to me...of course only after paying her. She did not inform me of my rights and caused an injustice to me and my children. She caused me to loose $13,000.00 dollars because she simply didn't listen. Cara's moral obligation is queationable as well.
