First I will note that I have not yet received the decision of my disability case, and that the Keener Law Firm worked with me years ago and I was awarded a positive outcome. I can't say enough how the outcome either way has it's implications in the work put in, but obviously the decision in these cases is based on my own situation and the perspective of a judge with whom a wealth of information and documents may be provided. I have many, many different resources from which we needed to get reports, medical documents, and doctor's opinions. The Keener Law Firm and Mr. Keener's staff were overwhelmingly competent when it came to gathering the evidence and making the requests. Through email or by phone, I was always able to get hold of one of his legal assistants, and each day I asked a question or made a call, I was responded to the same. Mr. Keener provided a lengthy pretrial conversation with me, and he presented the case at trial comprehensibly and convincingly.
I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the legal services provided by Russell Keener at Keener Law Firm. I feel it is crucial to convey the serious concerns I have experienced, which have significantly impacted my case and overall experience. My primary concern revolves around the lack of engagement and perceived disinterest from Russell Keener regarding my specific situation. Despite the helpfulness and care extended by the support staff, the main lawyer appeared jaded and genuinely uninterested in understanding the nuances of my case. This lack of connection and empathy was deeply concerning, as it felt as though my unique circumstances were not being adequately considered. Furthermore, I was extremely disappointed and negatively impacted by the fact that Russell Keener did not appear for my initial hearing. This absence resulted in significant delays, costing me additional time and forcing me to wait months for a new hearing. Such an oversight is unacceptable.
