Paul Michael Spizzirri, Esq., is the founding attorney of Spizzirri Law, LLC. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business in 1988. Paul then earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of South Dakota Beacom School of Business in 1989, and a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law in 1992. After practicing several years, Paul continued his education earning a Master of Laws in Taxation at DePaul University College of Law in 1997. Finally, Paul earned a Master of Accounting and Financial Management from the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University in 2006. Licensed to practice law since 1992, Mr. Spizzirri has 35 years of professional experience.
He has served as a partner at prominent law firms, including Duane Morris LLP and Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP, and has litigated complex commercial cases in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Paul’s public accounting experience includes working through the ranks from Supervising Senior to Partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions groups of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, Ernst & Young Global Limited, and Arthur Andersen LLP.
He has advised public corporations worldwide, with particular emphasis on the technology, telecommunications, and financial services industries. As a senior faculty member of the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, he taught more than one hundred graduate courses in Advanced Taxation, Advanced Accounting, Business Law, and Forensic Accounting.
Mr. Spizzirri resides in Marietta, Georgia, with his wife, Rene, and their four children.
