Hired Law Firm

The legal team is very courteous, knowledgeable, responds quickly to inquiries, and explains all matters thoroughly. They have been very professional and easy to work with. This case has not been settled at this time but we don't foresee any matters they will not be able to handle. The compassion and respect shown to clients makes a difficult time easier to deal with.

Hired Law Firm

Good impression at intake but once the agreement was in place, it was all about the money. Had an inexperienced attorney who did sloppy work and communicated no clear strategy. This firm is fixated on the monthly retainer more than advancing the case. Billed for every email, conversation and piece of paper scanned. Glad we got out when we did. Gained more traction dealing directly with the court at a fraction of the cost. Do not recommend.

Hired Law Firm

My experience with Georgia Probate Law Group (GPLG) was extremely disappointing and costly. I initially paid a $4,000 retainer, which was later increased to $7,500 after they claimed my matter would be “complex” and involve heavy litigation. Over time, I paid approximately $9,400, yet no meaningful work was ever completed — and nothing was ever filed with any court. I was assigned to Attorney Kimberly Mowbray, with Paralegal Vicki Porter assisting. From the start, the firm’s time entries were filled with internal “conferences,” “strategy meetings,” and “recap” emails between Kimberly and Vicki that produced no tangible results. The invoices show hours billed for reviewing the same materials multiple times and “researching” issues that were clearly outside the statute of limitations. I’m sharing my experience so others can avoid the same outcome. Do your research carefully. The glossy marketing and “A+ BBB rating" do not reflect the reality of how this firm operates.

Hired Attorney Mr. David Dupee

Hiring Mr. Dupee was a mistake. The first indication was his "...sorry if I overstepped..." A pattern of mistakes, excuses and the Blame Game. Documents filed without corrections or a draft filed, missed deadlines, failed to follow court instructions because he knew a better way etc. His excuses were as numerous: COVID - valid in 2019/20 but in 21/22, working from home, helping a colleague, family and health issues. Blame game: My paralegal did it, the billing clerk misunderstood, new hire, other attorney , etc. He provided incorrect and/or withheld vital information. The CEO agreed that it was not quality representation and that mistakes were made but since it was settled everything was "okay". He offered me $1,000 to withdraw any complaint. It was settled because I finally represented myself!! I would rate him and the firm as an embarrassment

Hired Attorney Mr. Erik Broel

Discussions with Mr. Broel were disappointing and negative. Early reviews for his company were excellent, Not so much recently. It appears that the ethical standards have diminished. I reached out to him thinking that he did not realize the poor quality of work being generated by his employees. He assured me "this is the way lawyers operate". He stated that I had misunderstood when I relayed numerous mistakes. I sent him proof in copies/emails. He acknowledged them but said they were normal and since they had been corrected it was "okay". It was not. Some were not corrected yet filed with the court. I was charged for the time to do the work, time to apologize and additional time for rework. I requested a return of the some of the fee. His position was that since it was settled they deserved the fees. He offered me $1k if I would not complain. The matter was settled when I represented myself after discovering the deceptive practices of the attorney assigned by Mr. Broel to my case.

$21k spent…and not a damn thing was done. I want a REFUND or I will report you to the “Bad Attorneys” police. Not even a call back. DO NOT USE…or go broke! Can’t wait for Eric Broel, the owner, to respond… and it’s not his fault

Hired Attorney Mr. Erik Broel

I was assured by the firm that they were experienced, and efficient. Their rates were high with no discounts for veterans or senior citizens but they would work expeditiously to resolve the issues. Unfortunately, it was a pattern of errors with apologies, excuses and delays over a two year period until termination by client. Draft copies of documents were filed with the court containing numerous errors. A failure to follow court instructions led to late filing. Failures to provide thorough explanations, to disclose information, of misleading statements and of numerous emails to obtain a simple answer were the norm. A careful review of billing was a must because of duplicate charges. Conflicting advice was given by the attorney. The company's position was their mistakes were just "customer service hiccups", that they had handled everything well. The facts do not support their opinion. This was egregious representation and a breach of faith. The ratings should include a minus factor.

Hired Law Firm

My experience with this firm was worse than being robbed at gun point. They consumed my $3000 retainer fee in 15 days. They have now billed me for $8147 and wrote 1 letter. They left me hanging by not even being able to complete a Petition for Guardianship for my special needs sister. They spend more time preparing their bogus and inflated billing statements than working on your case.... I would never recommend this firm !!!!!!!

They are con artists, scammers and lying thieves in suits. They say one thing but do another. Then they bill you like they did what they said they were going to do and then ask for more money to finish it.

Hired Attorney Mr. Erik Broel

Eric's firm is staffed with inexperienced and incompetent attorneys who do not care anything about finding the most expensive way to handle their client's cases. I hired Eric's firm to file for letters of administration for my dad's estate and guardianship for my mother. Two months later. I had been billed nearly $10,000 to file two simplistic forms, only one of which was filed. In fact, one of Eric's senior adviser's advice amounted to malpractice. Eric needs to refund my money.
