Ms. Frances Marian Weeks

Ms Weeks is supposed to be impartial at the outset when she serves as a guardian ad litem, but she is more interested in receiving her retainer check apparently than working with both sides. She was continually cancelling appointments and when she showed she was 45 mins late. Marian has quite a racket with the courts as she gets paid prior and after the trial and threatens to take you to court yet again if she is not paid promptly. She is mediocre but charges top rates! Do not believe her.

Marian weeks is a horrible GAL and will except money under the table to push certain narratives. She gets some sick satisfaction from hurting Mothers and seeing them lose time with their children. She has very clear motives and is the most unethical person to practice law in Ga. Stay clear of Francis Marian weeks. She is a thief and a crook and gets her kicks from hurting innocent children. Please do research before ever using this person. The previous reviews are spot on and still true today.

This woman is a complete FRAUD. If I had read the reviews before aggreging to hire her as Guardian ad litem no way would have I used her. The other reviews are spot on. She should have her licensed revoked and charged with theft by deception. She is a blood sucker and has no regard for what is best for the child involved. She only cares about her outrageous fees. If there is any justice left in the court system, this woman needs to be removed NOW from the list of qualified Guardian ad litem and held personally responsible for any harm brought to the children she has put in harms way.

Horrible GAL! Marian Weeks of Marietta. She took the children from a perfectly loving Mother who was told she could move by counsel and take her children because of constant harassment and abuse (documented through PD) from ex husband for years and put those children right into his home as Primary custodian. Great Mother only gets visitation that the ex husband dictated. She never did her research or investigation on the Mothers part. And charged over a few thousand dollars. She is ALL about money, she’s easily paid off. Beware!!! I hope she sleeps well knowing she gave these beautiful children to a narcissistic and manipulative damaged man. My heart breaks. DO NOT TRUST HER.

An absolutely corrupt, greedy, unethical attorney - and person. DO NOT HIRE HER - IF COBB COUNTY APPOINTS HER AS GAL - RUN - DO WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO DO TO GET HER AWAY FROM YOUR CHILDREN - UNLESS JUDGE MARY STALEY GETS APPOINTED - out of the blue - and without notice - then suck up to this POS as best you can - OR DISAPPEAR WITH YOUR CHILDREN. SHE IS THAT BAD - ESPECIALLY TO MOTHERS....

BEWARE! Marian knew the child was being neglected by her criminal, drug-addicted, psychopathic mother - arrested numerous times but still recommended custody with her, probably because the mother was manipulating her. Child's father is a wonderful dad and fought hard. Marian is all about the money and nothing about the safety of the child, and allowed herself to be manipulated. ALL ABOUT MONEY and the "good ole boy" system.

Stay as far away as you can from Marian Weeks. She told me my child support modification was a "slam dunk" but I later found out she was in bed with opposing counsel. She and BJ Abbott continually postponed court dates all to bill more. My simple modification took 4 years and cost over $20,000! She i very unethical and does not respond to you or contact you unless she wants money!!!

We were unaware of her history of harmful behavior (i.e. lawsuits against her). Once assigned Guardian ad Litem, it's impossible to remove her. She put the life of a fragile child in the hands of a monster. Her underhanded tactics include rescheduled key court dates, to her advantage & the detriment of a child; and lying under oath on behalf of someone she privately called 'unbalanced'. This child has suffered unspeakable mental abuse at the hands of his father & she is directly responsible.

Marian Weeks should not be making life altering decisions for children or families. She is a bully and cheat with far too much influence in Cobb county courts. She is spiteful and repeatedly postpones critical court appearances to her advantage. This corrupt behavior has gone on far too long and should not be tolerated any longer!

Marian is a great attorney if you have a lot of money. I live in another state and unfortunately she did not follow up with my case very well. I ended up dropping her and completing the case myself. I do believe that if I had been able to afford her services she would have been more attentive. There were some filings that she forgot to do which delayed my case for a year.
