Ms. Burgess and her staff were extraordinarily thorough, kind and knowledgeable in dealing with our case. My sister has short-term memory loss, so Ms. Burgess offered to have a refresher call close to the time of her Social Security hearing, so issues would be top of mind for my sister. I have a rare neurological disorder that many people do not understand. My attorney, Anjel Burgess, did the necessary research under the SSDI laws to determine a favorable outcome. I do not believe a less-experienced attorney could have presented my case to the SSI Adjudication Judge with such authority and confidence. She was able to get me disability benefits from my first day off work, thus, vindicating the seriousness of my illness. She was persuasive and professional before the judge.

Accepted my case and did nothing... I had to prompt them to respond to SSI correspondence... after a year, they dropped me. 6 months later I was awarded SSDI full benefits and back pay with no assistance from this firm.
