About Elisia Shofstahl Tipton

Elisia joined Marchand Law in 2010 after 9 years with a New Orleans based defense firm.  She has 18 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation; and, her experience also includes pharmaceutical products liability, personal injury, and toxic tort litigation; as well as, breach of contract and healthcare contractual disputes.  A graduate of Loyola Law School, Elisia was a member of Moot Court staff, a member of the Spring Team and the National Team and a teaching assistant.  Currently, in addition to her busy litigation practice, she is obtaining her LL. M. in Healthcare Law and Policy from Hofstra University with a targeted graduation date of May 2018. Elisia is admitted to the State Bar of Louisiana and Texas and is also admitted to practice in all Louisiana State Courts, all Louisiana U.S. District Courts, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.  She is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association and the 22nd JDC Bar Association.
