He was professional in every way

Con artist scammer! Took my 2k and DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! STAY AWAY! I thought he was going to fight to reduce my violation and all he did was submit a piece of form which I could have done myself!!

I contacted this attorney for help reducing a large amount of MTA violation fees charged to my business. He required a $750 retainer just to speak with him, which I paid. While he didn’t guarantee results, he implied the debt could potentially be reduced. After I sent him a form from the MTA, he called me back for a brief follow-up that lasted no more than five minutes. He asked what steps I had taken so far. I explained I tried to get help from a toll payer advocate but was told they don’t assist businesses. His response was simply that there’s nothing more that can be done, and I should just pay the full amount—adding only that I should make the payment with at least five business days to spare before the deadline. I paid $750 for advice that amounted to "just pay it," with no action taken on my behalf, no outreach to the MTA, and no attempt at advocacy. I expected more than a five-minute phone call. Very disappointing and not worth the money.

BEWARE!!!!!!! Very sad excuse for a lawyer, do yourself the biggest favor and go with someone else. I got totally scammed out of $2500.00, he promises you everything on the phone call and then completely disregards your case for weeks without any contact. I called up the dmv suspension line and settled it on my own, palumbo took ZERO dollars off my violations and then talks down to you when confronted about it. He WILL be responding to this review because he spends more time responding to angry customers than doing his job. He states i provided "misinformation" which is a rebuttal he provides everyone with so he can take your money. Ive also reported him for his extreme unprofessional behavior. Dont waste your time with this guy.

Michael Palumbo lost my case, after telling me over and over his higher fees were worth it because of his vast knowledge, how to work the system, etc. His office did not update my contact information as they told me they did, twice. When he lost my case, I almost didn't receive the documents and information to pay which almost resulted in my license being suspended. Michael blamed his employee after bashing me. Wouldn't recommend.
