Paul concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy, insolvency, creditors’ rights, and domestic and foreign business reorganizations. He regularly represents Chapter 7 panel trustees in litigation matters primarily relating to the recovery of assets. In addition, he routinely assists various constituencies, including – Chapter 11 debtors, creditors’ and equity security holders’ committees, commercial landlords, equipment lessors, private lenders and asset purchasers. Paul is certified as a Business Bankruptcy Law Specialist by the American Bankruptcy Board of Certification, and has been recognized by Philadelphia Magazine as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in the practice area of Bankruptcy and Creditor/Debtor Rights.
Prior to joining the firm, Paul was a founding partner of Maschmeyer Karalis, P.C., specializing in commercial bankruptcy matters. Before this bankruptcy work, Paul was for many years a partner at Ciardi, Maschmeyer & Karalis, P.C.
