NICHOLAS A. SHANNIN concentrates his practice in appellate and trial assistance in all civil litigation matters, including state and federal appeals, family law appeals, commercial and insurance coverage cases, post-trial motion practice, and writs of certiorari. Additionally, Nick assists attorneys with their civil and appellate fee issues as an expert witness and as a Certified Circuit and Appellate Court Mediator. Nick also assists governing boards as a member of the
National Association of Parliamentarians.
Nick was raised in Kissimmee and graduated from Osceola High School prior to receiving degrees from Rice University and the University of Florida College of Law. Nick lives in West Orange County with his wife, Carol, and children Jake and Anna. The Shannin family enjoys scouting, soccer and traveling to Gainesville for Gator games.
