He was very straight forward yet compassionate. Fees were more than fair.

Rachel just pushed what my wife wanted with the collaborative divorce. Before our last official meeting with both sides, Rachel tells me that my retainer is running out. I figured it was and not thinking anything much of it. The next week, we meet with my psychotic wife and her attorney. They leave pissed off because my wife stands to loss a lot. A couple weeks later, I get an email stating that my wife has changed attorneys and is taking it to litigation mode. Rachel withdraws as well. When I find a new attorney, Rachel tells him that I have an outstanding bill of $2800. For what? The hour that we sat with my wife and her attorney? Nothing much could have happened to rack up nearly as much as my retainer. I was lied to and she seems to keep crappy accounting of her time. She tends to go with the flow instead of pushing the initiative. Rachel is a prime example of attorneys that are in it for the money. I would suggest taking a pass on this one.

Atty. Roman did not represent me competently and diligently and did not earn her fee. Atty. Roman committed a criminal act in my presence; I rode with her to my first court hearing and she hit a parked car while she was parking. I would never have assumed a lawyer could be capable of such disregard and shameless conduct. She said things to me such as "Please just sign the document and stop trying to add or change language" I never received a thank you, any inquires if was satisfied with services rendered etc. At no point in time did I feel like Attorney Roman negotiated in my name or on my behalf, advise or represent me efficiently in court, and before the GAL, communicate effetely, proficiently, or professionally, conduct research into the information provided to her and analyze provided information, nor did she interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for me to understand or advocate for me. She had no problem taking my money charging me for the same thing over.
