I provide thorough assessments, candid advice, and compassionate advocacy.  I treat my clients like they are family.  I work tirelessly to ensure questions are answered timely, concerns are effectively addressed, and my client and I have set a strategy together to achieve their goals.  I understand that there are several considerations that need to be taken into account when deciding how to pursue your case.  From my upbringing with a rural, working class family to building my own law firm, I can relate with clients from all walks of life.  From complex litigation inside the courtroom to meticulous negotiations and document preparation, my work is respected and   enjoy guiding clients through the legal system and their options during some of the most difficult times in their lives.  The greatest compliment is knowing I have achieved a client's goals with repeat referrals from past clients and fellow colleagues.   I have been named as a Super Lawyers Rising Star since 2018 in the area of family law, a distinction reserved for the top 2.5% of attorneys in the State of Wisconsin in each practice area. Hired Attorney Atty. Ashley J. Richter

I recently hired Ashley for a Divorce settlement. She was very compassionate under the circumstances and was a great advocate for myself all along the way. I greatly appreciated that she never sugar coated anything and laid out the details and her thought process on why she recommended certain actions. I could tell she had my best interest at heart and after back and forth agreements with the other party she recommended we settle on the agreement as it was the best financial outcome and never tried to draw the process out and increase her fees which she was very transparent about. Despite it being a very hard time it was nice knowing she had my back.

Hired Attorney Atty. Ashley J. Richter

Ashley seemed smart, attentive, and genuinely caring. She stated that she thought we could get the divorce done for around the $4,500 retainer or a little more if things got difficult. The retainer was eaten up in less than two months, I was assured that it was due to the initial filing and paperwork. Ashley abandoned me after getting billed for almost $30,000 for mostly email. At $300/hr you would expect someone who will fight for your best interests... Ashley is not that attorney.
