Ms. Skinner was a God sent for me, throughout one of the hardest times of my life! She was empathetic to my needs and worked hard to help me win a favorable settlement, despite fighting a monster of an ex husband. She's one smart, tough lady, who I will forever be thankful for being on my side!
Divorce is one of the most unfortunate ordeals an individual can go through. I was referred to Ms. Skinner by several people. She came highly recommended and immediately "lived up to those praises..." Throughout the entire proceeding, she was professional, empathetic, and extremely prepared every time we communicated. She did a terrific job of explaining my options to me (regarding child-support, visitation, etc.) and made certain I got everything I requested in the split. Money well spent!
Ms. Skinner is very unprofessional, unprepared, and in my opinion incompetent as an attorney. Do to this fact I had to terminate her services early involving my divorce and child custody case and hire another attorney. Even though she was terminated at an early stage she kept my entire retainer saying it was non refundable. If you are looking for a professional divorce or child custody attorney I would heavily recommend looking for someone else. Also do your research on her past issues
