Hired Attorney David Barnhill

I hired Stan to defend me in a $1.35 million defamation suit and doing so was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I am also an attorney with very high expectations for legal representation and he exceeded them all. He was highly knowledgeable, extremely efficient and organized (quickly mastering the complex and lengthy history of my case), and mounted an extremely vigorous defense that worked. If you ever need a "bulldog" in your corner to fight back against a bully, Stan is the man. I cannot recommend him highly enough and I am forever in his debt.

Hired Attorney Sarah Bell

Sarah Bell’s calm and empathetic demeanor made my challenging custody battle much less stressful. She was professional, confident, knowledgeable, and did a great job of answering my questions and explaining the process. She responded to urgent emails promptly. With less urgent issues, I sometimes waited a few days for a response, but I can appreciate her skill in maintaining work-life balance in such a busy role; as a mother who prioritizes her children, she proved qualified and eager to fight to protect mine. I really felt as though she cared about me and my case. She was always very kind, and surrounding our hearing, was especially perceptive to my needs. I was awarded sole legal and physical custody. I am grateful for Ms. Bell’s service and recommend her without reservation.

Conscientious, friendly, sharp, quick study of a technical field, good common sense but knows the law, top performer, generally respectful of our financial limitations

Josh Wykle was attorney who helped us. Very poor communicator and often failed to clarify the issues. I ended working deal with IRS before he was able. We were told by AXA financial that they wanted us to see their attorney. we never signed contract nor received bill for over a year. At end of time, when I had gotten IRS to deem us currently uncollectible, we received bill for services. $5000 which we never agreed upon since we were told AXA was paying the bill.

Hired Attorney Richard Bolling

In September 2016, R. Patrick Boiling dressed as a surgeon and came into my hospital room on two occasions to sit in and observe conversations with the surgeon (William Kittrell) at Lynchburg General Hospital, who had recently operated on me and with unskilled hands, almost killed me. Mr. Bolling was assigned to perform this undercover task to assess the malpractice situation. I thought it was peculiar that a surgeon would be sporting a very full beard...then when I went home I saw his photo in a group photo of employees relative to a law firm merger, inside the cover of Lynchburg Business magazine. Talk about unscrupulous...this takes the cake.
