I am the founder of Whitehorse Consulting Group, a nationwide EMS expert consulting firm serving plaintiff-side attorneys in civil rights and serious injury litigation. I am a retired Fire Captain and Paramedic with more than three decades of street-level emergency medical, supervisory, and command experience, and I am also a licensed trial attorney.
Through Whitehorse Consulting Group, I provide expert analysis and litigation support in cases involving emergency medical response, in-custody medical care, restraint and chemical sedation, mental-health crisis response, and inter-agency coordination between EMS and law enforcement. My work includes case evaluation, expert opinions, deposition preparation, and trial strategy support where EMS standards of care and command decision-making are central issues.
In addition to my consulting practice, I am licensed to practice law. My legal training allows me to frame EMS conduct in litigation-ready terms, anticipate how emergency medical decisions are evaluated in court, and work seamlessly with counsel under the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. I approach each engagement with independence, precision, and professional integrity.
I am admitted to practice law in Minnesota and in the United States District Courts for the Districts of Minnesota, Nebraska, and North Dakota.
