I used Attorney Ramos for over 10 years and recommended her services to many clients. Many of the clients continue to use her services. She explains situations and the law extremely well. She is highly skilled in real estate and family law. Be surprised when an attorney calls you back or answers your call immediately. If the attorney is busy, you might have to wait a business day for a response.
Originally retained Atty. Ramos for simple closing on condo - ended up retaining her for contract dispute/return of my 10% deposit. She was facing a large firm, while she is a solo practitioner, and was able to get the Summary Judgement denied. My major complaint is I feel she disclosed some key info to her opposing counsel that #1 - violated atty/client privilege and 2# - gave them a major advantage in the negotiations as they knew I would never want to be deposed nor go to trial.
Only had contact with Atty. Ramos and her assistant (paralegal?). I am pretty sure it is a solo practice, i.e. no other atty's. Her asst/paralegal(?) was very prompt with follow up - my only complaint with her is that she would never promise a return call/fax from Atty. Ramos by a certain time. That's fine for a real estate closing, but when I retained her for 5k for faxing back and forth with a law firm and one court appearance, I expect priority treatment.
