About Scott Edmund Karem

I have been practicing law in Louisville for over seventeen years. Recently I brought a young lawyer named Jon Riesser into my practice. Jon and I are focusing our practice on helping people deal with some of life's most difficult circumstances. There is no doubt that there are few things in life that present more challenges than a serious injury or a life changing divorce. We strive with every client to remember that what we do is very important and will have a significant effect on their life. We also understand that most people do not understand our complex legal system. We do our best to make sure that clients understand everything that is happening in their case and that we answer all questions and concerns that our clients may have.

The fact that we focus our practice on personal injury and family law does not mean that we cannot assist you in other areas. We have personal relationships with lawyers who can handle virtually any legal issue. We are happy to talk to you about problems that you may have and, if we cannot help you, recommend an attorney that can assist you. We will not charge you for the recommendation and we do not accept referral fees or kickbacks from the attorney that we refer you to. We want you to understand that if we refer you to a lawyer it is because we think that lawyer will do a good job for you not because that lawyer is paying us for the referral.

Hired Attorney

Scott is very knowledgeable and forthcoming with legal advice and opinions which are straight forward, clear and concise. He provides excellent service as he is very punctual in communications and all legal matters. He speaks in great 'layman' terms. He has an excellent staff that are helpful, friendly and are very easy to work with in legal matters. He has a knowledge base in medical malpractice that is superior to most lawyers and has a proven track record to support his standings.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database.
