As a Partner at Gazak Brown, P.S.C. (formerly Darby and Gazak, P.S.C.), Rob handles complex medical malpractice claims, correctional healthcare litigation, and a variety of complex civil litigation mattes in both state and federal court. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Rob moved to Louisville to attend Bellarmine University (then Bellarmine College). After graduating from Bellarmine magna cum laude, he was awarded an English-Speaking Union Scholarship at Exeter College in Oxford, England. Rob then taught high school at St. Francis High School in Louisville for two years before moving to Maryland to attend graduate school and law school.In law school, Rob worked full-time as a law clerk at Clark & Steinborn, P.C. while attending classes at night. He graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2005 and has been practicing in Kentucky since moving back to Louisville, in 2006. Rob is admitted to practice in the state of Kentucky, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He has been recognized as a Kentucky Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2016 to the Present. Rob served on the Bellarmine University Alumni Board of Directors for six years, and was President from 2010 - 2011. He has also served as a Bellarmine University Alumni Ambassador and Career Consultant from 2009 to the Present.In his spare time, Rob enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He also enjoys travel, outdoor activities, reading and of course, cheering on his beloved St. Louis Cardinals.
