After a year of dealing with D&A (mostly Jessica), my first claim was denied. I understand this can happen pretty frequently with these cases, which is why I hired an attorney. They were referred to me, so I didn't do my own due diligence first. The entire year working with them always felt like I was in the dark. Jessica was not easy to talk to, nor was I ever kept up to speed on my case throughout. I mainly knew the status of my case solely by the letters SS would send me. And when SS throws all this paperwork at you, you'd expect your attorney's office to help.. but not here. At an extremely difficult time in my life, this was the last stress I needed. When I got my denial notice, I immediately fired them and looked on my own for a new attorney. I'm happy to report, that shortly after this denial, I immediately hired McDowell Stromatt, and they won my case shortly after.
Well I'm very disappointed they made me think they were a good attn an I had no ins an no money to go to a doctor an I literally had no money for specialist, but my records an ssao had my records from 2013 , so I trusted they would atleast try to get a pass on my hearing so I could try to go to the Dr , but she withdrawed from my ,case saying I wasn't doing what she asked me which was a out right lie , but then she told ssa I owed her 25 0/0 of my back pay ,,which I'm speaking to an attn now because ssa had no rgt to call her but I've waiting in a call from ssao hearings an I'm gonna take to the judge that awarded me my disability with no help from micha daniels only spoke to her twice in 18 mths when she has no rgt to my money , that's criminal , she withdrawed from my case an still trying to collect my money . I wouldn't tell anyone to use her ,
