About C. Boyd Sturges III

Boyd Sturges has practiced law since 1995. He has been involved in several high profile cases including representing a state Judge in a federal corruption case. He was named a special prosecutor in the Duke Lacross case to prosecute former Durham District Attorney Mike Nifong. He has tried many criminal, civil, and domestic cases both to juries as well as judges. He also represents the Franklin County Board of Education and Louisburg College. He was named a Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2009. He is currently a town councilman for the town of Louisburg. Boyd is also on the Board of Directors for the Tar River Land Conservancy and a Trustee for Louisburg College.

Hired Attorney

I was recommended Mr. Sturges by two different people from separate circles when I needed an attorney for a domestic matter I had been struggling with for far too long. With little family in the area, I was grateful for Mr. Sturges' support, compassion, and expertise in handling my case. He was responsive and made me feel safe throughout the process, despite my difficult situation. I genuinely felt that he cared about my family, prioritizing our well-being and safety. Hired Attorney

I hired this attorney's office to handle to a real estate closing and it was a nightmare from the start. They would not return a phone call you could not get a human being on the phone. The lady was rude and the attorney talked down to me. I am not an attorney but when I ask a question please answer it. I will never go back to them... Waste of money that I spent...
