David: If you are not interested on a case, don't take it. Not all has to do about money, I can clearly see your tactic, create a bunch of draft forms in a week, charge $2500 for them and pass the case to a new lawyer in training. If you are passing the case to another lawyer take the time to make sure they understood the case and are uptodate. Is not the client job to train the new lawyer and to charge the client in the process. You should not charge a client when they are complaining about billing, or about your new lawyer not knowing the case, or when asking for an update, because steps were taken without any explanation, etc etc
Although retained for two years, David Chon did nothing to resolve any of the issues which were clearly provided in writing at the time of retainment. He did not uphold his promises and neglected to keep me informed, yet I was continually charged for redundant work and to remind him of pending concerns. He had also submitted unacceptable proposals to the opposing counsel without my knowledge or consultation. I truly received more misfortune and distress from him than from the people I was suing.
