We hired another attorney from Mr Ackerman's firm to represent us (a family) in a suit against a large corporation. When that attorney took paternity leave Mr Ackerman and his team took over. They were barely communicative at all. A document he filed appeared to be missing a page. After more than a week of trying to reach Mr Ackerman's team about it, I finally got to speak w Mr Ackerman by phone to ask him if the missing page was an error or if perhaps it had been filed separately. Instead of answering my question Mr Ackerman began to lecture me about "calling me about every single document I file" (even though I had never contacted him about such a thing before) and worked himself into frenzy, barely allowing me to speak. He told me that he thought we should end our working relationship. My wife and I never treated Mr Ackerman with anything but the utmost professionalism and respect. I asked one (1) question and he blew up, leaving us in an even worse position than we were before.
