Stephen Reider is senior counsel in the Orange County, California, office of WSHB, where his practice focuses on complex tort and casualty matters and medical malpractice defense. He has over a decade of civil litigation experience, with particular depth in cases involving disputed medical causation, expert-driven liability issues, and significant personal injury claims.
Stephen's litigation background spans a broad range of practice areas, reflecting an adaptability that informs his approach to complex defense matters. Before joining WSHB, he gained substantial experience in transportation, professional malpractice, business litigation, consumer debt defense, and bankruptcy proceedings. He has also drafted an appellate brief for the California Courts of Appeal. T his diverse background has sharpened his ability to navigate unfamiliar legal terrain and develop effective strategies quickly.
Stephen earned his J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law and holds an undergraduate degree in Philosophy from the University of California, Riverside. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys spending time with his family, writing music, watching films, and playing video games.
