Requested lawyer update living trust, medical directive, and create financial power of attorney for son/nephew. Paid for services rendered, but 10 months later, we still have not received the documents paid for. {para}Attempts to contact lawyer have been unsuccessful. Office staff said they would send us a copy or original documents, but after a month, still no documents.{para}Also, I followed legal counsel's advice resulting in three years probation for first offense - driving without a valid license.
I am a former police officer who hired Seki when he worked for Darryl Mounger for a criminal matter, I was eventually convicted. Seki REFUSED to visit me in jail, refused to discuss trial strategy with me he even refused to provide me with the police reports, etc before trial. After I was convicted I took the case on myself and eventually made a prima facie case for a reversal based on his ineffective assistance of council. Seven years after his terrible representation of me I was able to get the case over-turned.
Update: After posting this review, the next day I finally spoke with Mr. Nishimura who said that the documents had been sent out in January, but will mail out another copy.
When it arrived, it only contained the updated living trust documents for my aunt and my father.
When we retained Mr. Nishimura's services, we requested it contain an update for the Medical Directive for my aunt, mother, and father, but we needed the creation of power of attorney for them too, and paid for it upon request.
