About Mark J. Kelson

Mark J. Kelson is Co-Chair of the firm’s Global Corporate Practice. Mark oversees the firm’s corporate transactional practice globally and leads multi-disciplinary teams in complex domestic and cross-border transactions. He represents private equity firms, entrepreneurs and corporate clients in mergers and acquisition transactions where he structures and negotiates an array of transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, corporate carveouts, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures and restructurings. Mark has particular experience in industries emphasizing technology, energy services, aerospace, health care, business services, consumer products and telecommunications. Mark also advises companies in connection with capital raising transactions, as well as counseling boards of directors with respect to corporate governance best practices, transaction strategy, regulatory compliance, fiduciary duties and executive compensation issues.
