Juliet Sobel is an entertainment and media attorney in Greenberg Traurig’s Los Angeles office, focusing on transactions across the music, film, television, and new media industries. Juliet represents a broad range of clients throughout the entertainment ecosystem, including internationally recognized and emerging recording artists, songwriters, and music producers; film and television producers, writers, on-screen talent, and studios; content creators, social media influencers, and digital media companies; and entertainment investors and financiers engaging in asset-based and equity transactions across the industry.
Her practice focuses on structuring and negotiating deals that govern the creation, ownership, and commercialization of entertainment content and intellectual property. In the music space, she regularly handles recording, distribution, publishing, licensing, and management agreements, along with catalog sales and acquisitions. In film and television, Juliet advises on a range of production and development matters, including attachment and shopping agreements, financing and distribution arrangements, talent and participant deals, and library sales and acquisitions.
