For over 35 years, our firm has devoted its practice to representing injured workers in California in the area of Workers' Compensation law. Our attorneys bring over 100 years of combined experience in that field and are committed to protect and further the rights of each injured worker, providing legal services with the utmost integrity and professionalism. We represent workers in many different occupations and industries: union members and non-union members, workers in the private sector and those employed by the state, the county and surrounding cities. They include teamsters and members of the Los Angeles Police Department, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Attorney Silver and Agatstein are the best. Mr Silver represented me in my injuries and received coverage several times. Mrs Agatstein represented me in my disability retirement and it was covered. These two Attorneys are AWESOME and the BEST.

Hired Attorney Lawrence O. Silver

I was reluctant to even seek legal counsel on a matter that I was pretty sure was hopeless. Though I knew I was right, I also knew that my evidence was flimsy. He took the case, handled it 100% professionally, and reached a fair settlement on my behalf. I highly recommend him. P.S. On other sites, people have complained that he doesn't return calls, etc. I rarely called him. People, please! These things take time to develop and move forward. Be patient. He will not disappoint.

I thought that I would be lost in the shuffle. Instead I was surprised at the individual treatment I was given.. My calls were answered promptly. My questions were answered in a way that I could understand. When my case was finally settled, I thought it was a very fair result given everything that I've gone through with my injury.. I would not hesitate to recommend these attorneys.

Mr. Silver successfully negotiated a C&R Settlement for a complex 31-year Work Comp case with California Insurance Guarantee Association this January. He is one of the top 5 attorneys in the CA Work Comp field, and his expertise proved invaluable to me not only in the selection of my expert and brilliant Cedars-Sinai Physician(s), but also in the final negotiations, including complex Medicare Set Aside procedures, Annuities, Lump Sum, & Supplemental Plans. He is the best and really cares.

Hired Attorney Lawrence O. Silver

Mr. Silver represented me in a Worker's Comp matter that covered the period from 1982 to 1985 while I was employed at one of the CSU campuses. While I was not off the payroll for that entire period, he not only secured my job, but also insured I was properly compensated for lost wages and retained my position and proper salary rate. I have recommended many co-workers and a family member to him over the years to their satisfaction. I highly recommend this firm of fine Attorneys.

I retained this firm based on a recommendation from an employee of the LASD. From the first call with counsel, Suzanne Agatste, it would seem that she works for the worker's comp board. When I attempted to ask a question, she would stop me and tell me more about how my claim will be denied and how their doctor may deny services too. I was 100% ok with that risk but what I wasn't ok with was not being able to ask follow up questions. She said you are not using your own time (in fact, I am). She then proceeded to tell me that I should go back to work then. When I tried to ask her how I should go about that since the doctor has placed restrictions and a HR meeting determined those restrictions could not be accommodated (I was dismissed from work on my own time) She said if your hand doesn't hurt go back (the injury is my shoulder and I've still had no diagnosis). She then told me to be careful of complaining my way out of a job. As a member of the LASD community, I 100% do not recommend.

Mr. Silver told me that he didn't work for penny's and that he was going to take good care of my husband's case, but that was not true, he didn't get my husband proper care or a good settlement I feel that he just wanted to closed the case to get his money.
