As an Iranian Jew, I came to the United States over 40 years ago, fleeing persecution. I was granted asylum status, giving me an opportunity to stay safely in the United States and obtain all the benefits this wonderful country has to offer. I have made it my life's mission to help others from all walks of life who are fleeing persecution, want a new start in this country, or have come to this land seeking the American dream. During the last 15+ years, I have consistently traveled all over the United States, defending people in various immigration courts from deportation and removal, whether in detained or non-detained settings. I received my undergraduate degree from UCLA and my law degree from Southwestern University School of Law. During law school, I externed for the Honorable Alan M.
