Mr. Lorman strongly supports pro bono and other volunteer efforts within the legal industry. His own pro bono activities include acting as a volunteer arbitrator for the Attorney-Client Mediation and Arbitration Services program (ACMAS) of the Los Angeles County Bar, which offers parties an opportunity to resolve attorney client fee disputes as an economical alternative to the court system. Mr. Lorman also volunteers as a Judge Pro Tem of the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Mr. Lorman has participated in thoroughbred race horse partnerships and currently is breeding what are hopefully future champions. Mr. Lorman's daughters are accomplished equestrians as hunter-jumpers. Mr. Lorman is also an avid supporter of UCLA athletics.
