About Matthew A. Crowther

Matthew Crowther, a shareholder and attorney at Jorgensen, Brownell & Pepin, P.C., focuses his practice on personal injury, wrongful death, and insurance claim disputes. With over 50 cases tried to verdict in Colorado, Matthew has extensive experience handling matters such as auto accidents, catastrophic brain and spine injuries, premises liability, wrongful death, and bad faith insurance claims. His dedication to his clients has resulted in numerous multi-million-dollar settlements and verdicts. Before focusing exclusively on personal injury law, Matthew served as a deputy district attorney and later as a criminal defense attorney. As a prosecutor, he held offenders accountable, trying dozens of cases to jury verdicts. As a defense attorney, he represented clients facing charges ranging from minor fines to life imprisonment. Now, as a personal injury attorney, Matthew works exclusively on a contingency fee basis, ensuring financial barriers do not prevent his clients from seeking justice.

Licensed in Colorado, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit, Matthew has earned recognition from organizations such as the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and The National Trial Lawyers’ Top 40 Under 40. He is committed to achieving maximum recoveries for his clients.

Hired Attorney Matthew A. Crowther

I was disappointed in Mr. Crowthers representation. It is not that he doesn't have the skills for excellent representation. Initially I explained completely my circumstance and the direction I wanted to proceed. Months later we are at a critical juncture and he is taking a turn that is obviously not toward my desired result. I tell so. He tells me the direction I want to go is the wrong direction. So ended the representation. He was going with as long as I do everything regulators want, said regulators would leave me alone. Had I wanted to comply I could have done so without an attorney. Mitigating the harm done has taken years and $10s of thousands. If what you want done and what he wants to do are the same, he is your guy. He did not tell that wasn't the case here. I have no doubt he felt he acted in my best interest. But no. It took forever, but he has been proven wrong.
