Andrew Dunkin grew up near Knoxville, Tennessee and attended Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) where he received a degree in Political Science and Philosophy. Andrew developed his skills and passion to become an attorney by competing for his college’s Mock Trial team and working as a file clerk at a prestigious law firm in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Andrew then moved to Chicago for law school and attended The John Marshall Law School, graduating in 2012. While in law school, Andrew gained valuable experience interning with an organization representing low income tenants to prevent evictions on the South Side of Chicago. As the son of a U.S. Marine, Andrew also participated in a first of its kind Veterans clinic helping Vets obtain benefits related to their service.
Following law school, Andrew moved to Colorado and began practicing law. Upon passing the Colorado bar exam, Andrew opened his own practice focusing primarily on family law. During this time, Andrew gained valuable experience representing clients in all aspects of litigation. Andrew then worked at a boutique firm where he handled the firm’s family law matters. Andrew prides himself on forming meaningful relationships with clients and advocating for their best interests.
Andrew joined the civil litigation practice at Flanders, Elsberg, Herber & Dunn, LLC and is currently representing clients in a variety of matters, such as breach of contract, collections matters, real estate, business litigation, and family law. Andrew is licensed to practice in all state courts in Colorado and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.
