I met Andres; completely by accident; at the graduation of a citizenship class at Brookdale Community College in Long Branch, that had ended, where he was invited to come and answer questions.
After asking my question, he told me he would have an answer by the following Monday and to call his office.
I called his office where the person who answered recommended emailing him.
He replied the next day with a succinct answer advising me how to take care of the matter in the best possible way.
This was an important question regarding my status which if I had not asked him I certainly would have ended up locking myself out of the country on a return home from abroad.
I am grateful for his quick and thorough council.
