Since becoming an attorney in 1990, Stephanie Loftin has focused her practice on helping people through some of life’s most stressful legal challenges. Stephanie grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and later built her practice in California, where she is admitted in all state courts and federal court. Her work takes her throughout Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego Counties, and she has also handled cases in Martinez, Ventura County, Indio, and El Centro. Stephanie doesn't hesitate to go where her clients need her, including a recent trip to Bakersfield for a contempt defense that resulted in a strong outcome. Public service is also a point of pride for her. She has volunteered for more than two decades with the Long Beach Superior Court Family Law Mediation Program and founded legal clinics at the Rainbow Battered Women’s Shelter in San Pedro to help survivors secure restraining orders and complete family law filings. She has served as Judge Pro Tem in several Los Angeles Superior Court departments and was appointed by Supervisor Don Knabe to the L.A. County Commission on Alcoholism, serving seven years, including two as Chair.
