Creighton McLean & Shea PLC is a law firm established in 1945 with an office in Livonia, MI. At this office location, there are 8 lawyers practicing general practice, corporate law, estate planning and 8 other areas of law.
My divorce was a complicated one, involving issues with property division and a long separation. I met with several attorneys before deciding on Kelley McLean Phillips. I could tell she was thorough, yet caring. She was able to sense when I felt overwhelmed and reassured me the preparation would be worth it. Although she was realistic, and opened my eyes to the fact that "no one wins in a divorce." She was always professional, but felt like a friend by the time my divorce was finalized.
I can't express my gratitude enough to Mr Shea. He is very professional, personable and exceeded all my expectations. He has many years of knowledge in his field and it shows. I would highly recommend Mr. Shea. He truly goes the extra mile for you.
John is a good counsel and an excellent lawyer in the court. He is an honest person who prioritized my interests and delivery of justice over other interests. He is well known and respected by all in the court including the judges - which is a good starting point. I know it's regular practice to use a form on computer, but someone should check to make sure the proper names are in the new form. I found someone else's name where mine should be so I gave the trust to my daughter(teaches law in the School of Business at U. of M.) She found seven errors that needed to be corrected.
Carl Creighton was representing my Aunt and Uncle and now that they have passed he is representing the executor of the estate. He has never returned a phone call and has refused to release a copy of the will to named beneficiaries. This is a horrible representation of the law and he definitely does not have the best interest of the estate in mind.
